Refund Policy

(Date of Last Revision: 27-09-2025)
This policy outlines the procedure for requesting a refund of fees paid to Mittal Institute. Due to the diverse nature of fees and compliance with regulatory guidelines, all refund requests are processed individually by the Accounts Department after initial submission through the student's designated institute/department.

1. Compliance and Refund Eligibility

1.1. Regulatory Compliance: The Institute strictly adheres to the latest fee refund guidelines issued by the relevant educational statutory authorities in India (e.g., UGC, AICTE, State/Central Government notifications) for all eligible program fees.

1.2. Refund Basis: Refund eligibility, calculation, and the percentage of fees to be refunded are determined by the Type of Fee Paid and the Effective Date of Withdrawal relative to the program start date, as stipulated in the latest regulatory guidelines.

1.3. Statutory Reference: Students and parents are advised to consult the official website of the relevant governing body (e.g., UGC) and the official Institute Prospectus for the current financial year to view the mandatory graded refund structure applicable to the Tuition/Program Fees.

2. Non-Refundable Fees

Certain administrative and mandatory fees are strictly non-refundable:

Application/Registration Fee: This fee is non-refundable as it covers the cost of processing the initial application, regardless of admission outcome.

Mandatory Administrative Charges: A statutory processing charge (the maximum amount permitted by the governing regulatory body) will be deducted from any eligible refundable amount.

Fees for Services Consumed: Fees for services already availed or consumed (e.g., transportation for the period used, examination fees for an exam already conducted) are non-refundable.

3. Effective Date of Withdrawal/Cancellation

The refund calculation will be based on the official date of withdrawal (the "Effective Date"). The Effective Date will be the earliest of the following:

The date the student's Designated Institute Office officially receives a formal, written notice/application for withdrawal from the student/parent.

The student's last date of recorded attendance in class.

The date the student is officially suspended or expelled by the Institute.

4. Mandatory Procedure for Refund Request
